FastingMonk ("the App") is developed and maintained by Nilesh Jethwa ("we", "us", "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how the App handles your information. We are committed to protecting your privacy.

1. Information We Do Not Collect

• Personal identification information (name, email, phone number)
• Location data
• Health or fitness data sent to external servers
• Device identifiers or advertising IDs
• Usage analytics or crash reports
• Any data shared with third-party services or analytics platforms

2. Information Stored Locally on Your Device

The App stores the following data exclusively on your device using Apple’s native frameworks such as SwiftData and UserDefaults:

• Fasting timer progress and history
• Task configurations and completion records
• App preferences (reminders, haptics, fasting protocol)
• In-app purchase status (managed by Apple StoreKit)

This data never leaves your device and is not accessible to us or any third party.

3. In-App Purchases

FastingMonk offers optional auto-renewable subscriptions (monthly and annual) through Apple’s App Store. All transactions are processed entirely by Apple.

4. Remote Content

The App may fetch task catalog data from a remote source to provide updated content.

• No personal data is transmitted
• No device identifiers are included
• Used only to retrieve app content (task definitions)

5. Notifications

If you enable notifications, the App schedules local reminders for fasting and daily check-ins. These notifications are generated and delivered entirely on your device. No notification data is sent to external servers.

6. Children's Privacy

FastingMonk is not intended for children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect any personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided information, please contact us.

7. Data Retention and Deletion

All data is stored locally on your device. You can delete your data at any time by:

• Using the "Reset All Data" option in the App (Goals → About tab)
• Deleting the App from your device

8. Third-Party Services

FastingMonk does not use third-party SDKs, analytics tools, advertising networks, or social media integrations.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date above. Continued use of the App indicates acceptance of the updated policy.
